1. Ordering
1.1 To Make an Online Purchase, Click ‘Add to Basket’ to add items you wish to purchase to your shopping basket and follow the online instructions to complete the order. We will email confirmation of your order and, where necessary, follow up with a telephone call to confirm details (such as artwork requirements).
1.2 Acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, is confirmed only when we send you an invoice.
1.3 To avoid misunderstanding, please provide accurate and exhaustive information concerning the order. Any errors in the order may result in postponing the order execution date.
1.4 Any changes to the order after it has been accepted to proceed shall require notifying print4display by email. Implementation of changes, if possible, shall require confirmation by print4display.
1.5 If such a confirmation is not sent by print4display, the changes are not implemented.
1.6 Where changes are made after the draft was approved, print4display shall charge an additional fee of £25.00.
2. Proofs
2.1 Before any artwork goes to production we will always email a PDF proof, which will require approval by you. This is a standard process on all print work we carry out and is all part of the service, not a chargeable extra. We do this to ensure the artwork we reproduce comes out exactly how you expect it to and no elements of the design are lost or changed when files are sent to us.
2.2 Please note: All quoted lead times are applied from artwork approval, therefore a prompt response to our artwork approval email is advised if your order is time critical.
3. Express Service
3.1 We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days. Should you require your order quicker than this, then please contact us. Where possible, we can allow your order to ‘queue jump’ and be dispatched quicker. However, we do charge a £25.00 surcharge for this service (per order). This ‘express service’ guarantees that your banner will be dispatched on a date agreed between you and print4display. This service in no way guarantees delivery on a particular date. Print4display is in no way liable for late deliveries cause by couriers.
4. Delivery
4.1 We will aim to dispatch your order within 3 working days from final artwork approval. Any delays in artwork acceptance shall automatically cause the postponement of production and shipment.
4.2 Ideally allow up to 5 working days from placing your order to receipt of delivery. However, we are able to meet shorter deadlines though there may be a charge for this service. We’ve got a bonus for our customers, if you are not short of time and can wait a bit longer for your order (6-8 working days) you will get 10% off your order.
4.3 We shall not be liable in any way for losses, damages or expenses (whether direct, indirect or consequential) suffered by you due to delay or any failure to deliver the order to the place and by the date stated by you.
4.4 Print4display is not responsible for 3rd party shipping errors/delays or damaged shipments.
4.5 The Customer shall obtain a delivery date guarantee only if an express delivery service is ordered. Such a guarantee shall be provided by the courier company.
4.6 Delivery charges start from £9.99 plus VAT. Charges vary depending on the product, service and volume. When ordering your product online, you will be informed of the delivery amount at the point of verifying your order. For more information on delivery charges and non UK mainland deliveries, please contact our sales team.
4.7 Cleared funds will be required before dispatch of goods.
5. Payment
5.1 We accept Visa, Mastercard, Electron, Maestro and Visa Electron through (not sure yet). Payments are processed through secure server. Paypal payments are also available for our customers.
5.2 If you would prefer to be sent a proforma invoice, this is not a problem. Please call our sales team to arrange for payment to be sent by cheque or BACS prior to dispatch.
5.3 All cheques should be payable to print4display’ and send to 89 Bickersteth Road, London SW17 9SH.
5.4 Please add an additional 7 working days to the quoted lead time to allow for your cheque to clear our bank account. Should you have any questions regarding the payment options available, then please contact us and we will be happy to answer any queries you may have.
6. Prices and Tax Charges
6.1 Our prices, as stated on our website, are in pound sterling (£) and are exclusive of VAT at the rate chargeable from time to time. You will be charged in pounds sterling even if you don’t live in the UK. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time. Overseas orders may incur bank charges for international transactions. Please note that offers are subject to availability and may end before originally advertised. Interest will be charged on late payment of invoices at a rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate from time to time.
7. Minimum Order Charges
7.1 print4display reserves the right to minimum order charge in amount of £35.00 + Vat +delivery. This is because of the amount of material wastage incurred on very narrow prints.
7.2 print4display reserves the right to refuse any order which falls below our minimum order charges.
8. Copyright
8.1 Unless negotiated and agreed in writing, the copyright of general artwork, commissioned artwork and illustrations and anything else whatsoever prepared, developed or created by print4display shall vest in and belong to print4display. All design, text, illustrations, graphics, photographs, diagrams, drawings, logos and the selection and arrangement thereof, controlled or operated by print4display are the intellectual property of print4display or its content providers and as between print4display and the customer all intellectual property rights (including all copyright) arising out of or connected with such content shall belong to print4display. No reproduction of any part is allowed without written permission.
9. Cancellation and Returns
9.1 If you wish to cancel an order without incurring a cost, you will need to do it prior to printing. If you do cancel an order, please let us know via e-mail to info@print4display.co.uk. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the stage of the order.
9.2 If you would like to change anything about an order we would recommend that, in the first instance, you send us an e-mail to info@print4display.co.uk.
9.3 All goods to be returned should be returned sealed, unused and in their original packaging. We cannot refund for items which have been opened, used or are damaged.
9.4 In the event of goods being received which appear to have been damaged in transit (especially where the packaging may be crushed or pierced), you should either not accept the delivery, or sign for it as “Unexamined”. If this occurs, please contact us immediately.
10. Complaints
10.1 The following procedure is hereby established with regard to the submission of complaints:
- A photograph of the defective goods is to be sent by the Customer to complaint@print4display.co.uk.
- Based on the picture, print4display shall make an initial or final assessment of the legitimacy of the complaint. If a picture (or pictures) is not sufficient to assess the legitimacy of the complaint, the product should be sent to print4display for verification.
- In this case, print4display shall send a courier service which shall collect the goods from the recipient and deliver them to print4display. Print4display shall not bear the costs of items shipped by Customers.
- Depending on the result of the assessment, the goods may be replaced and sent to the recipient, a refund could be offered, or the recipient may be informed of the rejection of the complaint and shall then pay the costs of transport.
10.2 If you require the goods to be returned for any reason other than the item being faulty please contact us within 10 working days of receipt explaining the reasons for the return. Goods must be returned in their original unopened and sealed packaging.
10.3 Items that are manufactured to order cannot be restocked and therefore we cannot accept returns. These products include all printed products.
10.4 Only the defective part / batch of goods and not the entire consignment shall be subject to complaints.
10.5 print4display shall not accept colour-related complaints when printing with CMYK, if the Customer does not order a print sample.
10.6 print4display shall not accept complaints on goods destroyed by wind, storm or other weather conditions, or if the goods have not been used according to their intended purpose and technical recommendations.
11. Warranties
11.1 All products purchased from our web site are guaranteed against mechanical failure for 12 months from the date of purchase. Returned products may be exchanged or a refund given provided that proof of purchase is given.
12. Special Offer
12.1 print4display reserves the right to end these offers or to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
13. FREE FLAG ARTWORK SERVICE
13.1 The free artworking service for our flag products is subject to print4display having prior sight of your design requirements. The free artworking service typically extends to a full colour logo plus one colour background and includes one design change before production.
14. 10% OFF YOUR ORDER
14.1 We’ve got a bonus for our customers, if you are not short of time and can wait a bit longer for your order (6-8 working days) you will get a 10% discount. Simply, when selecting a product choose the lead time 6-8 working days, and the price will change automatically.
15. Ownership of Goods
15.1 The goods remain the property of print4display until paid for in full.
16. Reviews
16.1 You may submit product reviews on our website or send via email, subject to our privacy policy. By completing a review, you are granting print4display a nonexclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable and fully licensed right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute and display such content via any media.
16.2 By submitting your review you represent and warrant that:
16.3 you own or control the content of your review and it is your own original work;
16.4 the content is not defamatory and does not infringe any applicable laws and
16.5 the content is accurate, truthful and your own genuine opinion and
16.6 you will indemnify and hold harmless print4display for all damages, costs and expenses incurred for breach of these warranties.
16.7 We reserve the right not to publish reviews and to remove reviews from this website without notice after publication if they do not adhere to these terms and conditions.
17. Graphic specification
17.1 To prepare your graphics, it is important to bear the following artwork guidelines in mind to achieve the best results possible.
17.2 Often delays come from issues with artwork.
17.3 If supplying your artwork we suggest sending it in the following formats:
PDF, TIFF, JPEG, EPS, CDR (up to version X3), AI (up to version CS3)
17.4 All layered files should be flattened and fonts converted to outlines.
17.5 When sending artwork, remember the files should be scaled to 1:1 in 72-150 dpi at FULL SIZE in order to ensure good quality print.
17.6 Set up all files in CMYK. Colour shifts can occur when designs are supplied in RGB format.
17.7 We will match colours as close as possible but some print processes may result in slight colour changes. Colours will not always print exactly as they appear on your computer monitor so please let us know if you have specific colour shades.
17.8 We recommend not placing any critical artwork/text within 5cms of any edge.
17.9 Please note that whilst we will make every effort to ensure your graphics are perfect for you, we cannot be liable if the artwork we are supplied with does not meet the specifications.
